About this session
This session offers an introduction to OISE CPL’s Leading School Improvement Fellowship, a 14‑week practice‑based programme designed for educators and leaders seeking to drive meaningful change in their schools.
Participants will explore how the programme supports a structured inquiry process centred on a real improvement priority. The session highlights how evidence‑informed approaches, cycles of planning, implementation and reflection, and collaboration with peers and facilitators can help build the knowledge, judgement, and strategies needed for sustained impact.

About the speaker
Trish Mazzotta Shaheen
Associate Director, Professional Learning, OISE Continuing & Professional Learning (University of Toronto) Trish has deep experience in improvement leadership and organisational change, bringing research-informed approaches grounded in a real-world context. She has led the delivery of OISE CPL’s K-12 portfolio for learners and organisations for the past 6 years, including the launch of the Education Leaders Program and the Leading School Improvement Fellowship, both developed in response to a specific market need to support K-12 school leadership development within the independent and international school communities.
